The following page will detail some examples of our past work and illustrate some of the available custom options. If you would like to request a personalized quote, we now have a coat request form available here.
By default, our base coats include all of the following features :
original pattern completely drafted by Saeru from scratch
custom fit to -your- actual measurements(not generically sized)
attention to specific character details(for instance, Vexen-style coats will have more flared sleeves than the standard coat, Axel-style coats will be tight all around, Xigbar-style coats will have funky shoulders, etc.)
real double-seams(not just top-stitching)
deep, functional pockets
our unique #30 gauge over-sized giant zipper in your choice of black, silver, pewter or gunmetal color, with two slider pulls
your choice of either a visually accurate faux hood (in the down position) or a "functional" up position hood.
constructed out of garment vinyl from syFabrics, which...
holds structure and lines well
softer and more comfortable than other pvcs
can support the weight of the coat's hardware
durable and easily "wipe-off" cleanable
photographs (with or without flash) like leather
Optional add-on's can include :
hanging "hardware" = clasp hooks, chain, beads, etc.
full interior coat lining
substitution of a smaller fully-separating #10 zipper
substitution of a different fabric
plus sizes (anything over a large in either Men or Women's)
other special requests...?
OPTION CHOICE = Zipper Selection
The base price of the coat includes one over-sized molded-tooth #30 zipper (of the appropriate length) with your choice of one or two slider pulls, and your choice of various colors. The extra-large #30 zips are great for their uniqueness and their ability
to be read well both from stage and in photos - plus they are size accurate to the majority of the actual in-game renders (i.e Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, re:CoM and 358/2 Days.)
For an additional charge, we are also willing to substitute a smaller #10 metal zipper upon request. The little #10 zips are fully-separating -and- have two pulls each. They also resemble the look of the Deep Dive movie at the end of the first Kingdom Hearts and some of the original design concepts.
New: also now available are mid-size #20 zippers, in an accurate two-pull style or a fully-separating one-pull style. These are still larger-than-normal zips, and a good choice for the Oblivion crew as seen in the original Chain of Memories.

ADD-ON OPTION = Coat Hardware
Our current version includes a hand assemblage of mini-spool beads connected to a lightweight-metal chain which hooks onto heavy-duty metal swivel clasp hooks, plus metal cone-topped wooden pendulums attached via metallic silver cording (they are there just for the look, and don't actually pull the hood closed...since the hood doesn't actually go up afterall.) Both the chain and swinging pendulms can be easily detached by the top clasp for transport and storage.
OPTION CHOICE = Hood Position
We've completed many coats that allow for the hood to be pulled up (as opposed to the "normal" style of our coats that has a decorative-only hood permanently in the down position.) This is really great for those that wish to use these coats for daily wear to stay warm and dry or those that do not wish to wear a wig while cosplaying. The trade off, however, is that when pulled down, they will not lay flat -exactly- across the shoulders as in the game. (If you noticed, even the game fudges it when anyone dehoods...by switching to completely different polygon models.) That being so, we managed to still reach a nice medium that is still recognizable and quite attractive, plus that it is possible to pull down.
We can incorporate either the smaller #10 gauge zipper or our larger #30 gauge zipper into the hood-up style.

ADD-ON OPTION = Full Lining
Why would you want lining? Usually it's because clothing made from natural fabrics (and sometimes from synthetic fibers) will fray at the inside seams (unless they have been serged) - so most of the time, lining is there to protect any unraveling. Lining also provides extra support to a garment made from flimsier fabrics.
For these coats, lining is not necessary. The vinyl is significant enough to not need the extra structure from a lining and will also not fray at the seams. However, a lining here will keep the inside of your coat in a cleaner condition, especially in humid weather. Having a lining simply makes the coat more comfortable and softer to wear - most notably for characters with tighter sleeves (Axel, Demyx, Xigbar.)
By the way, even if you do not choose to have a full lining to your coat, your hood will still look like this in the back by default. The double layer of vinyl provides a better drape and also encases the distracting looking backside of the hood's sewn seams.

extra FAQ's
Q. How much do these custom coats cost?
A. Our current pricing spread for new orders placed for 2010 due dates can be viewed here.
Q. How much is shipping?
A. Shipping will be calculated for you after you fill out the quote request form. It will be based on final weight, thus group orders will receive combined shipping. S&H includes Priority Mailing in fresh new packaging and delivery confirmation plus insurance. And, yes, we do ship worldwide. (Alternatively, we will hand-deliver your costume to you for free if you happen to be attending a convention we're going to be at, too.)
Q. What sort of payment is accepted?
A. Credit cards through Paypal, check or money order are all acceptable. You may make your payments in your preference of either 1, 2 or 3 installments.
Q. What conditions are these produced in?
A. All costumes are crafted by hand by Saeru with assistance by Yui in a smoke-free, clean environment. Additionally, we strive to produce as little waste as possible and most of our scraps are recycled or repurposed. We use new packaging and all hardware portions of the coat will be wrapped softly to avoid damage to the vinyl during shipping.
Q. I saw cheaper coats on eBay. Can you do any better?
A. Given the material costs and the amount of construction hours, custom tailoring and attention to specific details, these really are our best prices. We don't have an "economy" eBay style option, and we're not going to sacrifice quality just to make a sale. (Because we want there to be as many cool Organization coats out there as possible, we actually have these priced a bit lower than normal commission prices.) These coats are hand-made for each customer specifically. We don't have a warehouse of pre-made generic ones. ^_^;
Q. I'd like to make my own coat. Can you help me in any way?
A. Yes. First, check out the info we've compiled already on cosplay.com on the Organization XIII Tutorial & Supplies Thread. Also feel free to ask us a specific question if you get stuck. Additionally, here are some tips with attaching the giant zips.
Q. Do you sell just the giant zippers separately?
A. Yep. Our zippers can be purchased individually here.
Q. Are these coats weather-proof?
A. It is okay to wear our coats outside in the rain or snow without fear of damaging them. They are not normally designed to be fully water-proof (so you are not guaranteed to remain completely dry) - however, we *can* prepare the seams to be water-proof by request.
