Processing & Notification

• Most orders are normally processed the same day, including weekends. Special requests for items or deviations from our normal shipping methods may delay order processing.
• Any item that needs to be hand-crafted from scratch for a particular size or color (such as some of the hats) may take up to 3 days of construction time. (Most of the hats listed in our Etsy shop are ready to go as specified in the listing, however.) The time frame for full commissions of coats and/or wigs will be determined in the contract forwarded to you by Saeru.
• Domestic mail is shipped same or next day after processing. International mail is shipped approxiamately twice a week.
• The top right notice on our shop pages and on our store status blog will make note if we are in Canada, en route to a convention, or mention any other potentional delays. (Please always check this first if placing a time-sensitive order.)
• If you've paid through Paypal, an e-mail confirmation will automatically be sent to you with your package tracking info + be posted publically on our store status blog.
• If you've paid via another method, your package tracking info will still be posted publically on our store status blog. We can accept international money orders or business checks, but we do not offer purchase orders at this time.

Shipping Method

• Our site's shopping cart now does offer multiple shipping options, as follows :

  Alaska, Hawaii & Puerto Rico should plan for a few extra delivery days added to normal US shipping times. Standard shipping is offered as an economy consideration to international customers. While we have a 100% safe delivery rate thus far, the delivery time varies greatly based on the time of year and the country-specific post office. Since there is no tracking available for this service, there is no further support offered when shipped via this method. (Please be warned that Canada and Mexico have notoriously slow postal systems.) All other services include online tracking, but if you require insurance or signature confirmation additionally, please contact us prior to checking out. International Express includes delivery date money-back guarantee only to the countries that co-operate with this service, which are = Australia, Japan, South Korea, China, Hong Kong, Spain, Great Britain & Northern Ireland. All other countries still include tracking, insurance and pretty darn speedy service with this method, though. "Days" are business days that your local post office is operational, and is an average based on our personal past experience. Above estimate does not include any random possible international border customs' delays.

• Custom commissions will include insurance as part of your shipping cost - and these packages may occassionally be sent via expediated services such as USPS Express Mail or UPS Overnight - so please be prepared to personally sign for package receipt on its scheduled arrival date.
• International customers are responsible for any country-specific duties upon receipt of their package.

Please note : we are willing to ship via FedEx for businesses that wish to use their direct accounts for postage costs. However, due to many mis-mailings by FedEx in the past, we do not recommend this method, and the customer will be responsible should packages become lost.

Also : we will no longer be shipping directly from Canada even during our regular Toronto trips. (Canada Post is more expensive, slower and far less reliable, even to destinations within Canada.)
